Fused Filament Fabrication

Fused Filament Fabrication is an AM technology type from the Material Extrusion technology group, using polymer filament materials.

FFF is the same as FDM.

FFF was coined by the RepRap project in 2005, which needed an alternative term to FDM which was under the patent of Stratasys at the time.
