Carbon Forest Products are a UK company who are engaged in pre-revenue research activity developing sustainable carbon based AM materials made from Lignin which is an abundant waste by-product of the paper manufacturing industry. This is applied to laser based AM technology aiming to produce parts with superior thermal and lightweighting characteristics to those of copper and aluminium.
