ABS

Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene

Material

Definition

ABS in a 3D Printing context is a thermoplastic material in filament form. ABS is more durable, and about 25% lighter than PLA and has a four times higher impact resistance. It requires more effort to print than PLA because it is more heat resistant and is also prone to warping.

There are several ABS-like materials in pellet and liquid form.
